The Motor Vessel TENNYSON was part of a three ship order for the Chine Shipping Company.
The three ships were amongst the largest ships built at Henry Robb Shipyard.
She was a single screw diesel cargo ship, with a gross tonnage of 3894 tons.
She had a length B.P. of 335 feet and a beam of 50 feet, with a design draught of 26 feet and 6 inches.
M.V.TENNYSON was launched from Leith on 20th November 1956.
