ANNAHDA

Ship No 455

Was an order from the Crown Agents for a single screw diesel grab dredger, one of the types of vessel that Henry Robb shipyard specialised they were quite complicated to build. They were built to do a specific job and had to be reliable and well built for the punishment they took from dredging.

She was 281 grt, with a length B.P. of 110 feet and a beam of 29 feet with design draught of 10 feet and 6 inches. She was launched on 27th of March 1956.
